Akwasi Frimpong – Olympic Skeleton racer

Akwasi Frimpong made history in 2018 when he became the first and only Skeleton athlete from Ghana to compete in the Winter Olympics. Akwasi plans to change sporting history for his birthplace, by competing and medalling in the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China.  

It was an uphill battle to compete on the world stage for Akwasi. However, his incredible positive attitude combined with his hard work, dedication and persistence have kept him grounded, and allowed him to focus on his achievements, and work towards his future goals. Akwasi is determined to become the first African Winter Olympics medallist and inspire others to never give up on their dreams. 

So far, Akwasi has earned more than a dozen medals competing in international sporting events. He is also an entrepreneur and motivational speaker and is passionate about inspiring young people who have big dreams.

Jill Scott – professional footballer for Manchester City and England

Jill grew up in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear and although a keen long-distance runner chose football and began her career with Sunderland Women. In October 2005, aged only 18 years, she won the Women's Player of the Month award for September, based on her performances for both her club and country (at under-19 level).

Jill joined Everton Ladies in July 2006 and at the end of 2007/08 season she picked up the FA Players' Player of the Year award. She made her debut for the England senior team against the Netherlands in August 2006.

She made the squad for the 2007 World Cup, coming on as a substitute in England's opening match against Japan. She went on to start the remainder of England's matches in the tournament, scoring her first international goal in the 6-1 win over Argentina.

Since then Jill has gone on to earn over 100 caps for her country – soon to become the 2nd highest capped lioness in history – and has been an ever present in the England set up or the last 10 years. She has competed in 3 European Championships and 4 World Cups – including this year's in France where she became England's most capped footballer in the World Cup Finals, overtaking Peter Shilton in the Quarter Final win against Cameroon – where she was voted player of the game by the BBC.

In the winter of 2013 Jill decided to leave Everton and signed a 2-year deal with Manchester City. During her time at Manchester City Women, Jill has scored their first ever goal in the Champions League, won the 'double' – FA Women's Super League & Continental Cup 2016/17 – and in 2019 added a further Continental Cup win to her honours list.

Jill has also enjoyed plenty of success at Wembley having scored in the 2017 FA Cup Final win and in 2019 played an important role in again winning the FA Cup in front of a crowd in excess of 43,000.

Ben Cohen – former professional and England rugby player

Ben has been a proud ambassador for Forever since 2017. Ben began his professional career with Northampton Saints and he was also a member of the England national team that won the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Ben played rugby for over twenty years before retiring in 2011. He is very passionate about putting a stop to bullying, particularly homophobia and founded The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation.

Photo of Kristina Rihanoff

Kristina Rihanoff – professional ballroom dancer, instructor, choreographer and yoga instructor

Kristina has been a Forever Ambassador since 2015. Born in Vladivostok, Russia, Kristina has been dancing since the age of five. Since the age of twenty-one Kristina has travelled across the world competing and teaching dance. In 2008 she joined BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing as one of the professional dancers and after a successful run left the show in 2016. Kristina has also appeared on the American show, Dancing with the Stars and in winter 2018 directed produced and choreographed her own show “Dance to the Music” about the evolution of dance.

Not only this Kristina is also a qualified yoga instructor and has been a yoga devotee for nearly 20 years opening the first and only family wellbeing centre in Northamptonshire - Soo Yoga. She is also a passionate vegan and regularly uses ARGI+ before dancing and yoga.
